After the Web 🕷️ 🧠 💭 🌍 ⭕️
So yesterday I talked about the web.
How each spider stands on its own thread,
separate,
but still part of the whole thing.
And that’s stayed with me.
Because when you really sit with it,
you start to notice the thoughts too.
All of them moving about in your head.
And half the time, they’re not even yours.
They’re just… passing through. 👣
That’s when you learn to step back a bit.
Watch them come, watch them go.
Not grab hold of every one
like it’s the truth.
And then the web gets bigger.
It’s like there’s one great mind underneath it all.
Not a brain like ours,
not thinking in words,
but knowing.
Pulsing.
Keeping the rhythm.
Mother Earth.🌍
The big one holding it together. ❤️
And from that, we come out
each of us with our own little minds,
our own thoughts,
our own subconscious layers.
Brains within brains,
webs within webs.
That’s why it gets confusing sometimes.
You don’t know what’s yours,
what’s been picked up,
what’s coming from the bigger picture.
But that doesn’t mean we’re lost.
It means we’re separate,
and whole
at the same time.
Like the spiders again
each one feeling the vibration
when something moves anywhere on the web.
Mother Earth knows best.
She always has.
That’s why she keeps calling us back.
Back to the body.
Back to the ground.
Back to remembering we’re held.
We’re not meant to carry everything in our heads.
We’re meant to feel the web beneath our feet. 🦶by Rebecca Gilbey
